Dealing with stress at work

Hello everyone! Today I´m going to talk about "Dealing with the stress at the university"

First, the definition about stress:  Stress is a term in psychology and biology, and  It refers to the consequence of the failure of an organism to respond appropriately to emotional or physical threats, whether actual or imagined. We all experience stress in day to day life. In small doses it keeps us energized and interested. In large doses, and if left untreated, stress may become anxiety and be harder to deal with alone.

I feel that if I have a bad grade ruin my future and this is very horrible! However some people are not affected by the terrible stress...In my opinion, to overcome stress we need to balance academic demands and the social demands of college. Socializing and being surrounded by positive people is an important aspect of overcoming stress. It helps to have real supportive people that you like a lot in your life who want you to succeed, especially during finals. There are several strategies that will help us to cope with stressful situations. First, we have to learn to manage our time wisely. Second, we have to set priorities and make the most of our opportunities as a student. Last, we have to learn to say "no".

After all, college students have a lot of stress. There's no denying it, but college is what we make of it. If we stay focused and balance our life, we'll feel much more relaxed and healthier when it's time to wear our cap and gown. Now, that's an achievement we have earned for life! =)

My opinion about "the learning"

Hi everyone! today I chose this topic "There is no time to lose as everything important about the brain is decided by the age of three"

The focal point for the biological basis of learning is the contact point between nerve cells or 'neurons' i.e. the 'synapse'. New synapses grow and develop to create neural networks with experiences of learning. Creation of neural networks is a function of 'synapse modification' or 'neuroplasticity'

The synaptogenesis is the formation of synapses. Although occurs throughout the life of a healthy person, but an explosion of synapse formation occurs during early brain development. Synaptogenesis is particularly important during an individual's "critical period" of life, during which there is a certain degree of neuronal pruning due to competition for neural growth factors by neurons and synapses.I think that the processes that are not used, or inhibited during this critical period will fail to develop normally later on in life

Another version, more current in Europe, is the view that very young children must be constantly stimulated in their first two to three years in order to strengthen their learning capacity for subsequent life

Personally I think that is very important and crucial are the experiences of the first three years to a child's future behavior, intelligence, and emotional health; however the brain growth continues after the age of three, and the opportunities for growth do not shut down, because he absence of experiences that will stimulate the brain can have a lasting impact...and for personal experience I know that the childrens are best able to learn a new language when they're young...

bye bye !

A healthy life style Is it possible? how?

Hi everyone!  Today my post is about a healthy life style... Is it possible? How ?

First Im going talk about what is the healty life style...The healthy living is about making healthy choices every day; healthy choices that keep us fit physically, mentally and spiritually. Eating well, being physically active and not smoking are three of the best things we can do to stay healthy. By staying healthy we can help prevent chronic diseases and reduce our risk of becoming ill or seriously injured. Many factors affect the health as family history, gender, culture, education, employment, income, the environment, our coping skills and social support networks. As individuals and groups, there are many things we can do to positively influence our physical, mental, social and spiritual health and well-being.

Living healthier is a personal choice, but everyone has a role to play. Individuals, families, communities, governments and other organizations can work together to create environments and conditions that support healthy living. Some examples include creating smoke-free public spaces ( the tabacco use is the most important preventable cause of death, because this causes cancers of the lung, mouth, lip, tongue, esophagus, kidney, and bladder), making nutritious foods easily accessible or developing communities and buildings that promote physical activity.

Today's children are less healthy than their forbears. Tooth decay is on the increase, as is obesity. Both are believed to be a direct result of eating too much sugar, salt and fat. These are found typically in the many processed snack foods which children eat regularly. A poor childhood diet increases the risk of chronic illnesses!!

The healthy life style is  possible but is a society rol, because it is a societal problem:

The regular exercise can prevent and reverse age-related decreases in muscle mass and strength, can help increase self-esteem and self-confidence, decrease stress and anxiety, enhance mood, and improve general mental health,  can help control weight gain. This is very important and impresindible for the consequences...the physical inactivity and lack of exercise are associated with heart disease and some cancers, with diabetes and contribute to weight gain.

The solution is in our hands!

My best childhood memories !!!

Hi everyone! This is my second blog with my new group and I'm going to talk about my best childhood memories...

Well I have many memories but, now choose only one “My best memory” but I do not remember the details; I remember general things:

There is nothing like staying up with your friends late at night and talking about life! Something about sleepovers bring out the best conversations in people. You know what the best thing to do, is to reconnect with those people! Re-initiating old friendships like that can be really healthy, and really fun, especially if you get lots of chocolate!

My favorite memory as a child was sitting with a lot  friends in the beach, in the "el quisco"  late at night. One especially starry nights, you could stand on the dock and look at all the stars reflecting off the water. It looked as if you were staring right down into space. It was beautiful, I love the stars at night, the air in my face, the sound of the waves; and in the day I love the sun and look at the ocean.
We were visited a lot of place, my friends and I were so much fun, playing and swimming, We were a big group of friends with girls and boys and there were a lot of games. We were always doing funny things like running,  jumping, skating, riding our bicycles, etc

Well... I awaiting you enjoy my blog! See you

My favorite movie !

Hi everyone! This is first blog with my new group and I'm going to talk about my favorite movie "Hangover"

I saw this movie with my boyfriend,  and this movie was an excellent choice!!

This is the history ... four pals go to Vegas to celebrate the imminent nuptials of one of them, they partake in a rooftop toast to "a night we'll never forget." But they're in for a big surprise: their celebration drinks were laced with date-rape drugs, so when they awake in their hotel room 12 hours later, not only are they hung over, but they can't remember what they did all night long. Oh, and they're missing the groom-to-be.

The film is so cheerfully raunchy, so fiercely crude, that the humor becomes as intoxicating as the mind-altering substances. The standout in the ensemble is Zach Galifianakis, who is alternately creepy and hilarious. The movie is the nonstop volley of jokes--most cheerily politically incorrect.

They planned a Vegas bachelor party that they would never forget. Now they really need to remember what exactly went down! A baby? A tiger? Why is one of them missing a tooth? And most of all, where is the groom?! What the guys did while partying can't compare to what they must do sober in an outrageous caper that has them piecing together all their bad decisions from the night before.

Everyone I talked with after the movie will be seeing it again. This is one movie that is as funny as advertised.

Well... I awaiting you enjoy my blog! See you.
